About

My research primarily focuses on the evolution and maintenance of coral snake mimicry.  That includes, but is not limited to, studies of color patterns in coral snakes and mimics, phylogeography of the coral snakes and mimics, and coral snake venom.  In addition, I work on herpetofaunal phylogenetics and population/conservation genetics.
